Associate Director, Integrated Marketing & Media
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Development: Partner with the VP to create full-funnel marketing strategies that balance paid, owned, and earned media across channels, ensuring a holistic approach to reach, engage, and convert target audiences.
- Client Collaboration: Serve as a strategic partner for clients, presenting integrated marketing strategies, building alignment with their business goals, and driving the narrative of how each channel supports the overall strategy.
- Campaign Oversight: Oversee high-level campaign implementation across channels, coordinating closely with the paid media team, content team, and other key stakeholders. Guide and support the team responsible for biddable media while ensuring full integration with owned and earned media efforts.
- Performance Analysis: Lead data collection and reporting for multi-channel campaigns, providing insights and recommendations to optimize performance and improve ROI across the funnel.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor team members, especially Senior Media Planner/Buyers, fostering growth and collaboration while overseeing workload and performance.
- Cross-Channel Innovation: Stay informed about media, content, and digital trends, identifying innovative approaches that enhance the integration of paid, owned, and earned media.
- Internal Collaboration: Act as the media lead in client and internal work-in-progress (WIP) meetings, ensuring media, creative, and strategy teams are aligned on campaign goals and updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in integrated marketing, media planning, or digital strategy, with a proven track record of creating successful full-funnel marketing strategies.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with multi-channel performance measurement, providing data-driven insights and actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills with a client-centric approach, able to present and explain complex strategies to both internal and client stakeholders.
- Experience managing and mentoring team members, with a focus on promoting a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
- Deep understanding of the interplay between paid, owned, and earned media, with the ability to develop cohesive strategies across these channels.
- Proficiency in media and marketing tools, including Google Analytics and reporting platforms, with advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS).
