Content Strategist

Do you love thinking up content and experiences that will get your clients noticed? We’re looking for a Content Strategist who will do just that. To succeed, you’ll need to be equal parts strategic and creative, ready to identify smart ways for clients to tell their story through content, while ensuring that content is memorable and meaningful.

Job Description

As Content Strategist, you’ll plan and develop content strategies that meet the needs of our clients and their audiences. You’ll conduct research, ideate compelling ways to tell our clients’ stories, and wow them with content plans and writing that are creative and inspiring.

What you'll do

  • Propose creative content and experience ideas to our clients that consistently stand out, tell a story and win awards
  • Develop buyer journey-aligned content strategies that offer a compelling narrative for the product/service from issue awareness to solution
  • Write outstanding thought leadership, marketing materials/content marketing campaigns and sales enablement content – and collaborate with designers to bring your content to life visually
  • Work across teams to produce engaging website strategies
  • Conduct content audits/ competitive audits, provide analysis, and recommendations for how our clients can stand out from the crowd
  • Conduct desk research and interview subject matter experts on topics you’re covering
  • Develop your knowledge of our clients’ industries in order to provide fresh perspectives
  • Stay on top of industry trends and share your learnings with the team

What you'll need

  • 3-6 years of copywriting/content strategy experience in agency, in-house or journalistic setting, online and traditional
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office/Apple software (Word, PowerPoint, Keynote); knowledge of Adobe Creative suite a plus
  • University degree (undergraduate level) in Communications, design or another creatively or culturally interesting field and/or completion of an ad/design school program
  • Strong proofreading skills
  • Ability to work independently (yet collaboratively) in a remote environment
  • A positive attitude and insatiable desire to learn

  • A killer portfolio with smart thinking, sharp writing and a range of styles
  • Multi-hyphenate skill set: Digital-traditional-social, Advertising-marketing-content, Long-form and short-form content, Left-brain-right-brain-creative-strategic
  • Experience working in B2B or business marketing in complex categories a plus
