Data Analyst

Job Description

As a Data Analyst at Park & Battery, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing campaign data to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making. You will work closely with the VP, Integrated & Marketing to implement advanced tracking strategies, develop comprehensive dashboards, and ensure data accuracy. You will lead ongoing campaign reporting.

Role & Responsibilities:

Google Analytics Measurement

  • Set up and manage Google Analytics accounts and properties.
  • Implement advanced tracking strategies, including event tracking, goals, and custom dimensions.
  • Conduct regular audits and troubleshooting to ensure data accuracy.

Dashboard Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain reporting dashboards using tools such as Google Data Studio, Tableau, or other BI tools.
  • Integrate various data sources to create comprehensive, real-time dashboards tailored to the needs of different stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with teams to identify key metrics and KPIs to be visualized in dashboards.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze website traffic data to provide actionable insights that improve user experience and business performance.
  • Create custom reports and automated reporting solutions for various client campaigns and departments.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Technical Implementation

  • Collaborate with developers to implement advanced Google Analytics tracking and ensure proper tagging of all digital assets.
  • Utilize Google Tag Manager for streamlined tracking and data collection.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and features in Google Analytics and related tools.

Training & Support

  • Train and support team members on the use of Google Analytics and reporting dashboards.

What we Would Like to See:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Marketing, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a data analytics role, preferably within a media or marketing agency.
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Analytics, including setting up accounts, properties, views, and implementing tracking strategies (event tracking, goals, custom dimensions).
  • Strong experience with Google Tag Manager for implementing and managing tags.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio and Tableau, with the ability to design and develop interactive dashboards.
  • Strong SQL skills for querying databases and integrating various data sources into dashboards.
  • Experience with other BI tools and platforms is a plus (e.g., Power BI, Looker).
  • Proficiency with CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce, including data integration and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Experience in creating custom reports and automated reporting solutions.
  • Proficiency in using Excel for data analysis, including advanced functions and pivot tables.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, development, and client services.
  • Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Ability to stay updated on the latest industry trends and tools in data analytics and digital marketing.
