Acxiom, long known as a data powerhouse and the cornerstone of Omnicomm’s acquisition of IPG, had become underappreciated in a world obsessed with AI, media and performance.

The Insight

Acxiom has always been the brand marketers call when things get hard. Complex integrations. Identity gaps. Privacy fire drills. Acxiom solves the stuff others can’t – or won’t. As one research participant put it, competitors are “All slideware, no software.” While others sell boasts, Acxiom delivers real outcomes.

The Idea

A legacy brand, known quietly for powering the world’s best marketing with its data backbone, needed a bolder, more human, more future-facing presence. The idea? Love the Solve. A rallying cry that signals not only Acxiom’s obsession with solving hard problems, but also its optimism, action-orientation and empathy for its clients’ most complex challenges.

The Strategy

Visually, the rebrand introduced a completely new design language, built around dynamic “light trails” – a brand device that symbolizes energy, motion and intelligent illumination. This fluid motion speaks to Acxiom’s role as the connective tissue between data, identity, AI and real-world action.

The brand spoke directly to the doers and dreamers who love complexity and who don’t run from challenges – they run toward them. We made data emotional. We made performance personal. And we made Acxiom unforgettable.
